Many people who chose this field have a bachelor degree in computer scince, computer programing or are self taught. The education process may start in high school and college. Another way is to view web sites and think of way to improve the design. All designer should have some training in software such as Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator just to name a few. A web developer success requires knowledge of HTML, Peri, XML, SQL, Java, JavaScript, ASP or Cold Fusion. Web Developer or web developer team has to be able to maintain a web site whether it is for business or personal. The developer must keep up with the latest technology, internet trends and software. These tools are important to continue to build on his or her current skill level.
This career field is growing a rapid rate and will be plentiful for years to come. Many employers are looking for skilled web developers to create sites to expand their businesses. Although certification is not required; however a person should have this in order to impress the employer.
