Geometry Demos & Domes

The image below reveals an example of a style of icosahedron that I've built over the last 50 years.

Most of these icosahedrons were related to students but the first one, along with a few others were actually pranks. The very first icosahedron I built, with the help of many, was built at 2 AM on a Sunday morning. It was left on this girl's front lawn as a surprise for her in the morning. This particular style of icosahedron is made of wood sticks where the stick ends are held together with wire. The main tool was a pliers - no ladders or props.
