• Another round of boiling may be done with 500 ml of water. Users usually use dried Kratom leaves as tea for up to two preparations. Some even eat the plant matter to avoid wastage.

• Enjoy a hot cup of Kratom tea and boil again as needed.

A faster way to drink Kratom tea is to use seven grams of dried Kratom leaves is to leave  the plant matter inside the drink and consume the contents all together. While some may not be fond of eating used tea leaves, some like shaping the paste-like extract into small pellets to consume.

For people who cannot stand the bitter taste of Kratom, a smaller volume of dried Kratom leaves is recommended. Some may also combine black or herbal tea with the dried Kratom leaves for a better tasting mixture. Another option is to drink the tea very quickly or chase it with a fruit juice to mask the bitter taste of the drink. Some like adding honey or sugar into the mixture for a more appealing taste.

Kratom tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. The tea can be stored for a longer period of time when kept in the freezer. Surprisingly, mixing it with a strong alcohol such as vodka, rum or whiskey will allow you to store it for an extended period. Make sure to mix it with a ratio of 70% tea and 30% alcohol if you do.
