Picture Day

I always take my own pictures of her before I drop her off because her hair doesn't stay curly more than about 10 minutes and by the time her class goes to take pictures, she doesn't look like she did when I dropped her off!

Soccer
The fall season of soccer is in full swing again. Her team is still the only all-girls team in a co-ed league and is still playing up a year in an older division. They are doing much better this season now that they have gotten the hang of having more players on the field and how to play positions and that sort of thing. Kaira decided this year that she wanted to start training to play goalie. She will be playing half the game as a forward or mid-fielder, and the other half as goalie.

Centenary Soccer
Kaira and some of her soccer teammates went to watch a local women's college soccer game. They had a lot of fun watching, and it was also pretty educational for them to see what they were working towards, and being able to see the skills they've been learning put to use.

In the Kitchen
We make pancakes for breakfast probably an average of once a week. Kaira loves to help out in the kitchen and looks forward to stirring, mixing, etc. A lot of times we come up with different types of flavored pancakes to make, such as blueberry, banana, choc chip, cinnamon streusel, etc. This particular morning, Kaira somehow came up with the idea of a S'more pancake, and we decided to give it a whirl. They ended up being quite tasty!
On the griddle... we threw in marshmallow bits, choc chips, The finished product!
and crushed up pieces of graham cracker (Not sure if I should call this breakfast or dessert)
