The last week of summer before school started for Kaira (I started in July, so no summer for me!), we went down to Baton Rouge for another visit - to celebrate Lokei's birthday with her, and also to catch the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival while we were there.

Right at sunset, they do the 'Balloon Glow' where all of the balloons fire up at the same time. It's quite impressive to watch.

And with the beginning of the school year also comes the beginning of all the activities that go with it... I got Kaira back into ballet and gymnastics this year, and she has been enjoying both.
