~He Is God~

God's Angel

When the dawn touches the sky
The wings of an Angel will flutter by
Gently caressing the softness of your face
With the help of God's almighty grace
Her halo is spun of the purest gold
"You are my heavenly child" she was told
"Blessed are the ones who follow my faith"
"For they will have clearance to pass through my heavenly gates"
"For those who chose the other path I fear"
"Will never know the pain I feel or the agony I hear"
A tear rolled down the Angel's beautiful face
For she knew the Lord wanted to take their place
"Alas, Beautiful Angel, do not cry for me"
"I am the Lord you see"
"Whether my children are happy or sad"
"I will always love them, no matter the choice they had"
"My only begotten Son is on earth as I speak"
"To help make all the people's lives more complete"
"All they have to do, is believe in me"
"Then they will live forever in all eternity"

Where Will You Go?
A little church on a hill is filled with two or three.
We sing and shout and praise the Lord.
And there's nowhere I'd rather be.
From genesis to Revelation the Bible is our guide.
For life and death alike, we all will have to be tried.
As two or three together, God said He's in the midst.
And if we are born again, we will be on his great list.
Our life on earth is over. Do you know where you will be?
In hell or will it be heaven, where Jesus Christ we'll see.
Before our God in Heaven, we will stand face to face.
The truth our tongues will speak, to a God who's full of grace.
I want to see the Heavens, where God has made for me,
To live with him forever, And never more to grieve.
No tears, no pain, no sorrow, up there will we see.
For Heaven is a city where gold is on the streets.
And hell is pain and torture, and burning forever more.
And if you turn from God, the devil will have your score.
So the picture should be clear, of where you want to be.
When God calls your number and your soul has to leave.
So make a choice that's right, it's still up to you,
To choose your path of life, and be reborn anew.

Her Parents never took the young girl to church, never spoke of his name,
never read her his word. Two nonbelievers walking lost in this world,
took their baby with them, what a sad little girl. Her daddy drank all
day and mommy did drugs. Never wanted to play or give kisses and hugs.
She’d watch the TV and sit there on the couch, while her mom fell asleep
and her daddy went out and the drinking and the fighting just got worse
every night. Behind their couch she'd be hiding, oh what a sad little life.
And like it always does the bad just got worse with every slap and every
curse, until her daddy in a drunk rage one night used a gun on her mom
and then took his life. and some people from a city took the girl far away
to a new mom and a new dad, kisses and hugs every day. Her first day of
Sunday school the teacher walked in and a small little girl stared at a
picture of him. She said I know that man up there on that cross. I don’t
know his name but I know he got off cause he was there in my old house
and held me close to his side as I hid there behind our couch the night
that my parents died...

A Little Girl's Poem

Her hair was up in a ponytail.
Her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy's Day at school,
and she couldn't wait to go.

But her mommy tried to tell her,
that she probably should stay home.
Why the kids might not understand,
if she went to school alone.

But she was not afraid,
she knew just what to say.
What to tell her classmates,
of why he wasn't there today.
But still her mother worried,
for her to face this day alone.
And that was why once again,
she tried to keep her daughter home.

But the little girl went to school,
eager to tell them all,
about a dad she never sees,
a dad who never calls.

There were daddies along the wall in back,
for everyone to meet.
Children squirming impatiently,
anxious in their seats.

One by one the teacher called,
a student from the class.
To introduce their daddy,
as seconds slowly passed.

At last the teacher called her name,
every child turned to stare.
Each of them was searching,
for a man who wasn't there.

Where's her daddy at?
She heard a boy call out.
She probably doesn't have one,
another student dared to shout.

From somewhere near the back,
she heard a daddy say,
looks like another deadbeat dad,
too busy to waste his day.

The words did not offend her,
as she smiled up at her Mom,
and looked back at her teacher,
who told her to go on.

With hands behind her back,
slowly she began to speak,
and out from the mouth of a child,
came words incredibly unique.

My Daddy couldn't be here,
because he lives so far away,
but I know he wishes he could be,
since this is such a special day.

And though you cannot meet him,
I wanted you to know,
All about my daddy,
and how much he loves me so.

He loved to tell me stories.
He taught me to ride my bike.
He surprised me with pink roses,
and taught me to fly a kite.

We used to share fudge sundaes,
and ice cream in a cone,
and though you cannot see him,
I'm not standing here alone.

Cause my daddy's always with me.
Even though we are apart;
I know because he told me,
he'll forever be in my heart.

With that, her little hand reached up,
and lay across her chest.
Feeling her own heartbeat,
beneath her favorite dress.

And from somewhere in the crowd of dads,
her mother stood in tears.
Proudly watching her daughter,
who was wise beyond her years.

For she stood up for the love,
of a man not in her life,
doing what was best for her,
doing what was right,

And when she dropped her hand back down,
staring straight into the crowd,
she finished with a voice so soft,
but its message clear and loud.

If I could be here I would.
I love my daddy very much.
He's my shining star, and if he could,
he'd be here, but heaven's just too far.

You see he was a fireman,
and died just this past year.
When airplanes hit the towers,
and taught Americans to fear.

Sometimes when I close my eyes,
it's like he never went away,
and then she closed her eyes,
she saw him there that day.

And to her mother's amazement,
she witnessed with surprise,
a room full of daddies and children
all starting to close their eyes.

Who knows what they saw before them?
Who knows what they felt inside?
Perhaps for merely a second,
they saw him at her side.

I know you're with me Daddy,
in the silence she called out,
and what happened next made believers,
of those once filled with doubt.

Not one in that room could explain it,
for each of their eyes had been closed,
but there on the desk beside her,
was a fragrant long-stemmed pink rose!

A child was blessed, if only for a moment,
by the love of her shining bright star,
and given the gift of believing,
That heaven is never too far!

I knelt to pray but not for long, I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer, And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done My soul could rest at ease...
All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends, They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do, That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord, I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God! held a book; It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said "Your name I cannot find
I once was going to write it down... But never found the time"
Now do you have the time for God ?

The Importance of Ice Cream
Thank God for Children Saying Grace...
Last week I took my children to a restaurant. My six-year-old son asked if he could say grace.
As we bowed our heads he said, "God is good. God is great. Thank you for the food, and I
would even thank you more if Mom gets us ice cream for dessert. And Liberty and justice for
all! Amen!" Along with the laughter from the other customers nearby I heard a woman remark,
"That's what's wrong with this country. Kids today don't even know how to pray. Asking
God for ice cream! Why, I never!" Hearing this, my son burst into tears and asked me, "Did I
do it wrong? Is God mad at me?" As I held him and assured him that he had done a terrific job
and God was certainly not mad at him, an elderly gentleman approached the table. He winked
at my son and said, "I happen to know that God thought that was a great prayer." "Really?"
my son asked. "Cross my heart," the man replied. Then in a theatrical whisper he added
(indicating the woman whose remark had started this whole thing), "Too bad she never asks
God for ice cream. A little ice cream is good for the soul sometimes." Naturally, I bought
my kids ice cream at the end of the meal. My son stared at his for a moment and then did
something I will remember the rest of my life. He picked up his sundae and without a word,
walked over and placed it in front of the woman. With a big smile he told her, "Here, this
is for you. Ice cream is good for the soul sometimes; and my soul is good already."

DEATH ROW

A letter written to a man on death row by the Father of the man whom the
man on death row had killed:

You are probably surprised that I, of all people, am writing a letter to you, but I
ask you to read it in its entirety and consider its request seriously. As the Father
of the man whom you took part in murdering, I have something very important to say
to you. I forgive you. With all my heart, I forgive you. I realize it may be hard for
you to believe, but I really do. At your trial, when you confessed to your part in the
events that cost my Son his life and asked for my forgiveness, I immediately granted
you that forgiving love from my heart. I can only hope you believe me and will accept
my forgiveness. But this is not all I have to say to you. I want to make you an offer:
I want you to become my adopted child. You see, my Son who died was my only child, and
I now want to share my life with you and leave my riches to you. This may not make
sense to you or anyone else, but I believe you are worth the offer. I have arranged
matters so that if you will receive my offer of forgiveness, not only will you be
pardoned for your crime, but you also will be set free from your imprisonment, and
your sentence of death will be dismissed. At that point, you will become my adopted
child and heir to all my riches. I realize this is a risky offer for me to make to
you -- you might be tempted to reject my offer completely -- but I make it to you
without reservation. Also, I realize it may seem foolish to make such an offer to one
who cost my Son his life, but I now have a great love and an unchangeable forgiveness
in my heart for you. Finally, you may be concerned that once you accept my offer you
may do something to cause you to be denied your rights as an heir to my wealth. Nothing
could be further from the truth. If I can forgive you for your part in my Son's death,
I can forgive you for anything. I know you never will be perfect, but you do not have to
be perfect to receive my offer. Besides, I believe that once you have accepted my offer
and begin to experience the riches that will come to you from me, that your primary
(though not always) response will be gratitude and loyalty. Some would call me foolish
for my offer to you, but I wish for you to call me your Father.

Love,
The Father of Jesus

He is the First and Last, The Beginning and the End!
He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
He is the Architect of the universe and the Manager of all times.
He always was, He always is, and He always will be ...
unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!

He was bruised and brought healing! He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom! He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power! He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can't understand him, The armies can't defeat Him,
The schools can't explain Him, and The leaders can't ignore Him.
Herod couldn't kill Him, The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him,
and The people couldn't hold Him! Nero couldn't crush Him,
Hitler couldn't silence Him, The New Age can't replace Him,
and "Oprah" can't explain Him away!

He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.

His ways are right, His word is eternal,
His will is unchanging, and His mind is on me.
He is my Savior, He is my guide, and He is my peace!
He is my Joy, He is my comfort,
He is my Lord, and He rules my life!

I serve Him because His bond is love,
His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life.
I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise,
the power of the powerful,
the ancient of days, the ruler of rulers,
the leader of leaders, the overseer of the overcomers,
and is to come. And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size.

His goal is a relationship with ME! He will never leave me,
never forsake me, never mislead me, never forget me,
never overlook me and never cancel my appointment in His appointment book!

When I fall, He lifts me up! When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong! When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage! When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me! When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me! When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me! When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me! When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!

He is everything for everybody everywhere, every time, and every way.
He is God, He is faithful. I am His, and He is mine!
My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world.
So, if you're wondering why I feel so secure, understand this...
He said it and that settles it. God is in control, I am on His side,
and that means all is well with my soul.
Everyday is a blessing for GOD Is!

I love the Lord and thank Him for all that He has done in my life.
