Kaitlyn's entire right side has been implanted with cybernetics which are controlled by a computer in her brain. When she was 17, Kaitlyn was in a boating accident and almost got sliced in half. In order to save her, her brother brought her to a doctor he knew who specialized in cybernetic organisms.

Metallic Healing Factor

Kaitlyn is impervious to any types of metal - This is not to say she cannot be harmed, she just cannot be harmed by things that are made from metal. This would include if, for some reason, she ran into Wolverine and he picked a fight with her - His claws would not affect her at all. The best way to explain how this works would probably be that she has a healing factor when it comes to things made out of metal .. she still gets injured but will automatically heal after wardds, depending on the severity of the injury.

Super Strength

With her cyborg implants, Kaitlyn is capable of superhuman strength - This gives her the ability to punch through walls or really do some damage if she wants to beat you up. This ability is only applicable to the cybernetic side of her.

Weakness: Sometimes, Kaitlyn will lose control of the computer within her brain and her cybernetics will do things of their own accord, she still doesn't know what's wrong and why it does this. Kaitlyn is vulnerable to water (She cannot shower) and also lightning/electricity. If she is hit by any of these things, her computer will shut down and she will be vulnerable to any type of attack. If Kaitlyn is ever stabbed or shot, and the bullet (or knife) isn't removed, Kaitlyn will heal around it and it will be a constant reminder. As a result of this, when Kaitlyn was 23 and travelling the world, she was shot in the leg by someone in an attempt to rob her .. she was unable to get the bullet removed, so she healed around the bullet and to this day still walks with a limp on her left leg.

Special Skills: Kaitlyn has had military training progrwammed into her computer, so she is a capable hand-to-hand fighter as well as military grade weaponry. Kaitlyn is also very good with computers, seeing as she practically is one.

Background/History: Kaitlyn doesn't remember much of her past before her boating accident which made her realize that she was different. When she was about seventeen years old, she was on a boating trip with her older brother, and she fell out of the boat and into the water. The motor sliced Kaitlyn down the middle and her brother was quick to react. Carrying Kaitlyn back to his car, he drove her to a doctor he knew that specialized in cybernetics. The doctor was able to save Kaitlyn's life by turning her entire right side into a cybernetic life form, while her left side is still human.

Appearance:

Personality: Kaitlyn is a kindhearted woman, always seeing the good in people even if everyone else has given up on them.  While she does see the good in people, and believes that no matter who you are, you have a good side to you, Kaitlyn isn't one to be trifled with.  She isn't exactly an agressive person, but if necessary she can fight and defend the school and it's patrons.

Tidbits and Facts: Kaitlyn's right side is entirely cybernetic, and as such her right eye is an ultra-violet red.

Growth and Development: In the future, Kaitlyn may learn to control her computer better so it doesn't do things on its own. She also may learn to become invulnerable to more then just metal, given time.
