Who ?

The Peach Bottom Twp. Volunteers is comprised of one station, Company 10-42.  It is one of 72 volunteer fire stations that comprise York County.   It is staffed solely by a dedicated group of volunteers 100% of the time, a surprising accomplishment in today’s society of decreased volunteerism.

Where ?

Engine Co. 10-42 is located in Delta PA, , approximately 2 miles from the Peach Bottom Nuclear Power Station.  Our response area includes the Nuclear Power Plant, the Susquehanna Trails, the Susquehanna River, and the village of Aileston.  Major roadways such as Rt. 851 and 74 bring commuters to and from an area of industrial complexes, vacation spots and single-family and duplex homes ranging from new construction to over 75 years in age.

What ?

Company 10-42 operates one class ‘A’ engine.  Volunteers respond to several emergency incidents each year.

The volunteers of Peach Bottom Twp. are made up of over 20 individuals.  The average experience of the department is 2-5 years.  Peach Bottom Twp. Vol. prides itself in providing superior service to it’s community.
