We here at Loyola are trying to promote an earth-friendly campus. In doing so, we have come to the conclusion that commuters could benefit from an electronic database that unifies them. The student parking permit is currently set at $432 per year for commuters; however, if you become part of a car pool, Loyola will offer it at a discounted rate of $350. That cost will then be split between you and your fellow car poolers. To take part in this wonderful deal, all you have to do is enter in your information (schedule, phone number, email, zip code) and the electronic database will then show you who, in your area, is also looking to take part in a car pool. The next step is either emailing or calling whoever is located within your area and arranging a car pool.
