I got my first guitar for Christmas of my junior year of high school. I started trying to learn how to play on my own and eventually began taking lessons. When I started college, I didn't have time to take lessons any more and I kind of stopped playing guitar because I didn't know what direction I should take to learn more. A couple years later, I picked up my guitar again and couldn't put it down. I decided to go buy a new guitar one day after school; I went straight to Guitar Center after getting out of school for the day. I bought some instructional books and started learning all I could about playing guitar (I still have a long way to go). After buying that guitar, I started to buy more--partly because I enjoy playing different ones and partly because I enjoy collecting them. So far I've got seven guitars--six electric and one acoustic.
