.Welcome to our website! Herein find team blogs, plus evidence gathered during past investigations for your appraisal. The Johnson County Paranormal Team was founded the summer of 2008. The four charter members are all co-workers at the University of Iowa who share a common interest in gathering and sharing data we obtain on paranormal investigations. Whereas we do not subscribe to any theories that attempt to explain such phenomena, hopefully the more information we obtain will ultimately/ideally lead to some understanding. The JCPT is here for you, the curious viewer, as well as for those who might have some odd goings on at your home or workplace that need some looking into. Our services are offered free of charge! Investigation hours are flexible...whatever fits your schedule. Usually starting around 9 pm to midnight, we certainly could extend those times when warranted.
Our clients' privacy is important to us! Since we have filmed our exploits from day one for broadcast, it is your choice as to how much, if anything, you wish to reveal; be it your identity, the actual location, etc. The JCPT brings a professional attitude to every case. We will respect the premises we find ourselves in, as well as any spirits we may come across. We also hope you can respect the time and effort we put into what we do, so please allow us the time without interference to complete our investigations. Safety is also paramount, and we'll use common sense when out in the field. At this time we do not have any messy liability paperwork to sign off on and hopefully can keep it that way.
