1. Holter Monitoring

A Holter monitor is a small, wearable device that keeps track of your heart rhythm. Your doctor may want you to wear a Holter monitor for 24 hours. During that time, the device records all of your heartbeats. A Holter monitor test is usually performed after a traditional test to check your heart rhythm (electrocardiogram) if the electrocardiogram (ECG) doesn't give your doctor enough information about your heart's condition. Your doctor uses information captured on the Holter monitor to figure out if you have a heart rhythm problem. If standard Holter monitoring doesn't capture your irregular heartbeat, your doctor may suggest a wireless Holter monitor, which can work for weeks. While wearing a Holter monitor may be a little inconvenient, it's an important test that may help your doctor diagnose your condition.

2. Traditional Chinese Herbal Therapy

Traditional Chinese herbal medicine can treat many common ailments, including but not limited to common colds, flu, allergies, coughs, digestive disorders, pains, insomnia, emotional distress, etc. The practitioner combines herbs based on the diagnosis, using a traditional herbal formula as a foundation and adding other herbs specific to the individual’s complaint and constitution.

3. Electrocardiogram (ECG)

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a medical test that detects cardiac (heart) abnormalities by measuring the electrical activity generated by the heart as it contracts. The machine that records the patient’s ECG is called an electrocardiograph. The electrocardiograph records the electrical activity of the heart muscle and displays this data as a trace on a screen or on paper. This data is then interpreted by a medical practitioner.
