This addictive game
probably was the sole cause of school absences, tardiness and
truancy. Let's take a look at the 80's gaming phenomenom that
created human arcade monsters obsessing to beat the high score
of the day. The game became so serious that an epidemic known
as "Pac Man Fever" created worldwide panic.

Pac-Man is a Japanese arcade game
developed by Namco (now Bandai Namco). It became a phenomenon
when it was released in the US by Midway. Pac Man became an 80's
pop icon. Despite his success, he was a lonely yellow circle so
he found a wife who shared similar interests like eating pills,
larger pills, various fruits and ghosts. Their love life was like
running through a pheremone maze.

Pac-Man was an extremely popular arcade game. It was released
Midway in 1982. Ms. Pac-Man was originally conceived as a bootlegged
hack of Pac-Man called Crazy Otto[1], created by programmers employed
at the General Computer Corporation (GCC).
