I have lived in Norfolk, Virgina for about 20 years. I have flown over 80 models in the last 3 years. You can contact me through the mail or my email. You can also call my house number which is the 383-6684 number or my cell phone at 403-3115. I have been married for 21 years and have three girls who love to fly models almost as much as I. I have flown Estes, Apogee, and Quest rockets and Cox and Fox airplanes. I have put together other planes as well, there are many manufacturers and some are better than others. Cox and Fox are the main model airplane producers. I have been building them for years and trust in the quality of plane they produce.

Ivan's experience.Big model plane

As I said, I have been building and flying models for over 25 years. I have built and helped build over 300 models, both airplanes and rockets. The models have ranged from the most difficult rockets and planes to the easy, almost ready to fly models designed for beginners. I have constructed models using varying materials such as paper and balsa wood and coverings from an "iron on" material to waxed paper. This may sound strange but will become clear to you as you build these kinds of models for yourself. The model you see here is a balsa wood and a special covering that shrinks when you "iron on" this mono-coat and makes the tightness just right so the proper aerodynamics of the wings and elevators and rudders is set. The model pictured here is a fuel ran engine and will produce the proper thrust to fly the plane. Choose any level to start with, while I recommend starting with the easier models but as long as one can follow instructions then building any level should be no problem. Good luck and many successful flights to you who take up this hobby.
