Welcome to IT MUST BE THE SHOES! My name is Ryan Robinson, and this website was created for my ETEC 4810 course: Assignment 12. I've been a fan of sports my entire life, but basketball will always be #1. Growing up, there's one player I wanted to be like and that was Mike (Michael Jordan). I wanted to walk like Mike, talk like Mike, and even chew gum like Mike. Like many fans across the world, I couldn't be exactly like Mike, but I could dress like him for sure. Ever since the release of his first signature shoe in 1985, Jordan 1, fans have lined up for hours just to get a pair of basketball shoes of arguable one of the best players to ever play the game of basketball. His shoes are still running strong after 28 years. The success of Nike/Jordan opened the door for signature shoes. The purpose of this site is to bring that passion for both the sport and shoes, all in one place.
