The Road We Travel

The road we travel is all but a straight one. We've endured many twist, a few obstacles along our way, but never have we come to any dead ends. There's plenty of stepping stones, uncharted avenues and bridges to fill the gaps, all to keep us going. However, it's never guaranteed who we might run into, friend or foe. Or even where we may end up when the road finally comes to its end.
The unknown (paranormal) to us is this road. It's a road less traveled – full of danger, excitement, and sorrow, all requirements we've endured amongst our way. But to walk in the shadow of the wise, one must know themselves, only than can one truthfully understand the forgotten wisdom (ancient knowledge) that lies embedded in our soul.
To not take this road, we feel would be a loss. One would always be questioning the what if's. Regardless, we've chosen to this day, to wander this road. And feel that all we've encountered, those we've met, and the places we've been have nourished our soul, quenched our thirst. Whether it's with allies, enemies, or entirely alone. We shall continue to travel this road (the unknown) in hopes of seeing it through. But we'd rather be traveling this road, than never have taken it at all.
