Mom a week ago we got the news,
You went in peace, your body gave out
and your heart had seized. Your soul
is going up to Jesus and our family
who went up there before you, but
we will always remember how we loved
and adored you. Mom you were always
there for us no matter what the reason
whether good or bad, you proved you
were the best friend and mom a person
could ever have.
Mom 8 years ago when we got the news
news no mother or wife wants to hear,
We got the news Our Tony was sick and
you held our hands and dried our tears.
Well you had a long journey just like
Tony, but you need to go up there now
for Tony's arms are open wide and you
forever will be by Tony's side.
I know I wasn't always the best but
you always made me pick my head up
and start again. In good times and
bad, Mom you were always there when i needed you,
and you will always be an angel by my side.
