Tibetan incense is mainly available in Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet. It is a particular style of incense. The Tibetan culture is represented by this incense. Tibetans use this incense to pay honor to the Chinese emperor. Near about 30 or more herbal elements are included in this incense. No stick is there in Tibetan incense just to maintain its cleanness.

 

Both the Himalayan region and the Hindu traditions used this Tibetan incense back 3000 years ago. During that period the Tibetan people mainly the bon priests began using incense for offering prayers to the deities.

 

Incense is simply used for ceremonies or rituals. This simple rite has very significant denotation in Tibetan culture. The smell which comes out from the incense relaxes the body refreshes the mind and energizes our soul. Tibetan incense trains us the precious education of the human life. When the incense stick is burnt it spreads out the perfume into the whole area but as soon as the stick gets shorter it ultimately fades away into ashes which depict the end of the life. Thus we can say that it guides us about the fact that noting is permanent in life. Apart from this lesson it also teaches us on the values, this incense also comprises beneficial and remedial substance which is derived from herbs, minerals and flowers. As per Tibetan culture the incense is also used to cure aliments.

 

In old times the Tibetan incense was a very fundamental part of Tibetan culture and now also this incense has gained the popularity all over the world. The main reason  for gaining popularity is that people use it to get relaxed and also it helps to refresh the mind and soul, it has reached into almost very household.
