National Innovation Council (NInC) has selected IamSME of India to implement the Innovation Cluster for Auto Components in Faridabad.
For the first phase, two activities have been shortlisted:
- Entrepreneurs Facilitation Center
- "Tod-Phod"/ Imagineering Center
A) Entrepreneurs Facilitation Center (Start in Jun 2012):
To provide services/ info/ facilitation to Entrepreneurs on various fronts (Credit Facilitation, Lean Manufacturing, Trainings, IT, Accounts, Taxation, Technology identification, Energy Efficiency, etc) and skill trainings on regular basis
Outcome: Directly helping entrepreneurs, present and future, to establish projects/ upgrade, upscale operations, introduce them to futuristic ideas, provide linkages which shall show results in Turnover, new products, new customers, new exports, employment, skills etc
B). "Tod-Phod"/ Imagineering center (To start by June 2012):
- At Manav Rachna International University
- The students work on Projects/ Models/ Assignments of Auto-component/ Automobile Industry
- Rewards & Recognitions for Students & Industry
Outcome: Integration of Academia with Industry, Models & Products designed/made/created in the Center can be showcased, Increasing Employability of students, Real shop-floor interventions and much more.
