HUG Ministries International, a global outreach ministry, began back in 2005 after having received instruction to set up office and begin both writing and reaching out to those in need. The poems had been inspired by God and the "LIFE" story had already begun. After having accepted the call to ministry in 2003, while actively participating on the Joshua Ministries Roundtable it was confirmed that there were many hurting and 'dying' who would readily receive and hear 'a word from the Lord' if there be one spoken. The sacred scriptures state in Romans 10:14 that there must be someone to teach the message of the Savior and preach the Word of God or people will never 'hear'. All that our heavenly Father desires are humble and willing servants to proclaim the gospel of good news to the world. HUG is simply a humble and willing vessel our Lord uses to reach out and touch the world with His Unfailing Grace.
We are committed to our creed of "Loving God and Loving Neighbor" and want all to receive of His Unfailing Grace. God is good to us not because of our being good but instead because of His being so good. He loves us no matter how unlovable we are at times. He blesses us daily not because we deserve it but because His grace is unfailing. This is the call to which we have devoted our lives and we are willing to travel the world, be it via the World Wide Web, plane, or even by foot in order to shed the light of Christ into every dark, dreary, and many times lonely place. We are blessed daily by simply pointing our feet in the direction of being blessed to be a blessing. We cannot neglect the widow or the orphan and must promote strong marriage and families. We go where most people would rather not set their feet: in hospitals, nursing homes, funerals, and prisons as Jesus would have done. As Jesus, we have not given up on the drug addict, the prostitute, and the murderer but instead show them the love of Christ and let them know that there is hope because of what HE did on their behalf.

We believe everyone living on the face of what we call earth today can find hope and health in being reconciled with their heavenly Father. By simply accepting the gift of life through Christ the Messiah and then committing the rest of their lives to being used by God the Father and Creator of us all, children of God not only become what God created them to be but make lasting difference in the world today and that which is to come.
