DON'T BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST YOUR NEIGHBOUR - don't lie and gossip.

DON'T COVET YOUR NEIGHBOUR'S HOUSE - don't desire the neighbour's wife or husband

or any of their belongings. (Who is my neighbour? Everyone is your neighbour.)

DON'T MAKE ANY CARVED IMAGE OR IDOL - don't bow down to any other thing as your idol or god.

LOVE ALL OTHERS JUST AS JESUS LOVES YOU.

EVER TOLD A LIE? EVER BEEN SELFISH?

EVER SAID SOMETHING MEAN TO OR ABOUT SOMEONE?

Jesus said "ALL have sinned". Therefore we are ALL sinners. So, how do we get to heaven?

Heaven? What's Heaven?

THE QUESTIONS -

Scene 1

You’re lying in hospital in agony, with excruciating physical, mental or psychological PAIN & TRAUMA.

Someone says - "How are you?" You reply screaming - "IT’S HELL"

Scene 2

You have a real peace in yourself; you’re happy about the day that’s been; you snuggle up in bed in your soft snuggly bedding.

Someone says - "How do you feel?" You reply, smiling - "IT’S HEAVEN ! "

WELL, YOU’RE RIGHT. That’s just what Heaven and Hell are like only more so.

The Bible tells us that in Hades (Hell) you suffer constantly. It’s constant hell-fire.

At least in the situation in Scene 1 in hospital you may have some relief eventually.

NOT IN HELL. It’s ongoing. There’s no let-up. Forget the wild fun parties - they just don’t happen.

Here on Earth you might not have a continual happy and snuggly life like the situation in Scene 2.

But you will in Heaven and life here on Earth can be much better for you.

HOW CAN YOU GET TO HEAVEN?

You might say "I’m a good person. I’ve never done anything really wrong in my life. I’ll be going to

Heaven". Ever told a lie? That makes you a ______. Ever stolen something really

small? That makes you a ______. Have you ever hurt anyone? Have you ever gossiped? Etc etc.

Not wanting to condemn you but we really need to think about our purity or otherwise don’t we.

WHO IS GOOD ENOUGH TO GO TO HEAVEN?

Or you might say, "I’ve been a rotten person. I’ll never get to Heaven". WHO GOES TO HEAVEN?

DO YOU WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN OR HELL? WHICH DO YOU CHOOSE?

ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT? DO YOU WANT TO BE SURE YOU GO TO HEAVEN?

THE ANSWERS-

WELL, ACTUALLY, IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR CHOICE.

Think about a glass of milk.

One drop of black ink will change its colour for ever. You don't need a big blob; one little drop is enough to spoil its purity. Nothing will make it pure white again.

That's like us - we are pure - good - until we say or think or do one thing wrong.

Being good is good, but nothing good we do can make us pure again.

We are no longer without sin. But, because of this, in His mercy & love for us, Jesus Christ died to take the punishment for our sins so we can be forgiven & healed, and He rose again to life.

When we accept His gift of forgiveness & what Jesus, the Son of God, has done for us - we are made pure in God's sight - we are put right with God. Without Jesus, who is good enough to go to Heaven?

NO-ONE. God tells us "ALL have sinned". God can't look on sin.

If you died tonight, would you go to Heaven or Hell?

"By grace (God's love and help), we are saved through faith .. it is the gift of God.

It's not of good deeds."

'Through faith' means 'through believing that Jesus is the Son of God,

that He died to take the punishment for our sin, and that He rose again and is alive in Heaven'..

You've probably heard the saying "born again". This means starting a NEW life with Jesus.

Simple as that ! :-) God has said that you MUST be born again.

WHATEVER YOU DO, WHOEVER YOU ARE, WHEREVER YOU'RE AT,

WHATEVER YOU BELIEVE -

THE TRUTH IS

JESUS LOVES YOU - ALWAYS

NEVER FORGET THAT. !!

Jesus died and rose again to let us know that when we die on Earth, we can rise to live with Him in Heaven - if we have accepted His gift of forgiveness while alive on Earth.

After all, if we don't want to accept Jesus or have anything to do with Him on Earth now,

why would we want or expect to live with Him in Heaven ?

Jesus said that everyone who accepts Him will be called the children of God -

we become part of His family and receive an inheritance from Him - including life with Him forever.

IT'S YOUR CHOICE RIGHT NOW.

Would you like to ask Jesus into your life ? Just talk with Him right now -

"Thank You Lord that I am saved by Your loving sacrifice for me. Thank You for taking the punishment for my wrong thoughts, words, actions and attitudes.
I am so sorry Lord. Please come into my life. Fill me with Your Spirit to help me to be more like Jesus, to walk hand in hand with You day by day. Thank You Jesus. I believe in You and want You to be Lord of my whole life. Amen"

If you prayed this prayer sincerely, from your heart, you are now God's child, you are cleansed, forgiven - Jesus is with you, and you have His Holy Spirit with you.

DO YOU NEED HEALING ? JESUS WANTS TO HEAL YOU. Ask Him for healing.

WHAT TO DO

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NOW -
Find someone who knows Jesus and talk with them about your decision to follow Him so that they can encourage you and help you, and help you to find a church.

Tell your friends and family about your decision. They might want to make the same decision and share your excitement about knowing Jesus personally.

Read the Bible straight away. God's Word is very important for you. If you don't have the book, you'll find it on the internet. Go to http://www.jrsbible.info/bible.htm You can start by reading the Gospels - the books of 'Luke' and 'John'. Then go on with Acts and Romans.

THIS WILL BE A VERY EXCITING JOURNEY FOR YOU.

PRAY ALL THE TIME. JESUS IS WITH YOU. TALK WITH HIM about all sorts of things.

GOD HEAL YOU, SHOW YOU HIS WONDERS, AND BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY.
