Generic Snuggie Blanket
So. I got a leopard print generic Snuggie blanket that I am desperate to return. The brand is Soft Wear. Anyone know who sold this so I can return it? I have checked Fred Meyer, Walgeens and Rite Aid.

Please help me get $5 in store credit for this thing!

Lol. I've seen those at gas stations. Why don't you just use it or re-gift. it.

Well Rite Aid did sell that item at some point, but like many items this time of year might have only been a seasonal item no longer carried in store.

Here is a link to Rite Ad ad from last month showing it.

They are weird, and odd but... whatever keeps you warm.

The leopard print is only sold online (according to several different websites). Snuggles from online can only be returned within 30 days. Either ask the person where they got it and when because you really can't use the gift, or donate it, or give it to someone that wants its.

I personally don't understand why lots of people are excited about the snuggie. It is basically a robe.

Wow, I can't believe the Snuggie generates so much controversy! haha

To the OP -- I really don't know if this can be solved. Snuggies and their generic versions have been sold all over the place this year. Have you tried Googling the manufacturer and contacting them?

Unfortunately, with it being a gift and an off-brand (and possibly a seasonal item), I don't think you're going to have much luck returning it.

My grandfather gave me a Snuggie last Christmas. It's ugly and not very thick, but you know what? It was the PERFECT price to layer between my blankets to add extra warmth. No one sees it, I don't have to try to wear it, and it was a lot cheaper than a new blanket or length of fleece from the fabric store.

$5 might be nice to have, but at this point I think you're going to end up 'spending' more than that in effort just trying to find someone to take the thing back. Just figure out a way to reuse/repurpose it. In the off-season, when it's not warm enough to use it as a blanket, my cat uses my Snuggie as a nest.

I agree! As a gamer, I love my Snuggie, it's so much better than trying to keep wrapped up in a blanket while sitting at my computer or on the couch playing a console game. It's perfect for reading, too!

I got a snuggie for christmas and I saw a snuggie commercial Christmas day and said "I never want one of them." Everyone got really quiet and my BF shook his head and looked at his father, lol. Only issue I have with it is that it turns me into the shock queen when I wear it and clings to everything.

Donate the snuggie to Goodwill or the Salvation Army or your local thrift shop. THere's someone out there who doesn't have your multitude of warmth options who would definitely appreciate the poor skill of having something warm to snuggle in instead of turning up the heat. There is no reason to cart your snuggie all over God's green earth trying to find someone who will take a return without receipt or any proof that it came from that store.

Yeah, that's worth way more than the $5 and the accompanying headache of getting a return.
Plus, I believe that what goes around, comes around. You'll be blessed for it further down the track (just my opinion)
