This story is narrated by Zack Nesbitt.

Zack Nesbitt meets a sweet, Irish lady, Jane Maitheas, in college, when they rehearse a duet for a choir concert.  They quickly fall in love.  However, Antonio DeLuca, Zack's arch-enemy from high school, has his eye on Jane, but only because she is with Zack.  That doesn't stop Zack and Jane from getting married a few months later, and having two beautiful children together.  Their first-born is their son, Cody Nesbitt, and three years later, they have a beautiful daughter, Chloe Nesbitt.

About three years after Chloe is born, the whole family, along with their closest friends, attends, a birthday party for Zack's mother, who is 50 years old.  They seem to be enjoying themselves, until they turn their heads for a few seconds, not knowing that someone has taken their precious Jane away from them.

For many years, a broken-hearted Zack does everything in his power to find his lost wife.  Chloe remembers her mother, and prays for her to come back.  However, Cody loses hope after several years of constant hoping and praying.  Losing his mother hurts him too much for him to keep his faith.

Will the family ever find Jane?  Will they find out why and how she disappeared?  Will they catch whoever took her?

This story is narrated by Erin Quinn.

Erin Moira Quinn was born and raised in Fresno, California.  She was only eighteen months old when she lost her mother, Moira Quinn.  Most people have few or no memories from when they were only babies, but Erin remembers her mother's lullaby, her voice, and the day she died.  However, nobody knows how Moira was killed, or who killed her.  Very often, Erin has dreams of her mother.  Most of them are good, but there is the reoccuring nightmare of the day her mother died.

Since the death of Moira, Erin's father, Jeremy Quinn, has been abusing her--beating her, treating her like a slave, and constantly putting her down.

At just seven years old, Jeremy forced Erin to work at his hardware store as a janitor.  However, by the time she was thirteen, she was able to afford a laptop.  She originally needed it for school, but one day, when she was surfing the net, she came across the personal web site of an Irish Celtic/Classica/Pop singer, Mairead Ni Slanaitheoir.  Erin read Mairead's blogs, watched her home made videos, and listen to her music, and she suddenly felt so liberated.

Erin sent Mairead a message, telling the singer of her abusive father, and the loss of her mother, and a few days later, when Erin comes home from school, she finds the sweetest reply from Mairead.  After that, the two continue to chat everyday.

While her father continues to abuse her, Erin finds his journal, and she reads some very disturbing and frightening entries.

However, Erin may be freed very soon, because Mairead announces an upcoming concert in Fresno.  Erin is able to afford a front row ticket and a Meet & Greet.  Will Mairead set her free, and will Jeremy end up in jail?

Candelaria Áilleacht Solas, also called Candi, is a young, Irish immigrant, living in Miami, Florida. She is a volunteer at a church. She is not only the choral director, but she is also like the mother of everyone in the choir, as well as for everyone else she meets and befriends.

However, Candi's boyfriend, Gabriel, has a very different opinion of her. He constantly puts down her beliefs, hopes, dreams, and even her Irish heritage. One day, Gabriel's closest friend, Billy, comes to Candi with a big secret, which he has not told a living soul. She promises to keep his secret safe.

Unfortunately, Billy's secret somehow gets out, and Gabriel and his other friends blame Candi for leaking it. Not only that, but they accuse her of being a fake and a fraud, and they treaten to expose her for the "evil person she is." Things soon get very out of hand.

On top of this, Candi is very sick, and soon finds out that she is in congestive heart failure.

Will the real person who leaked Billy's secret come forward, and confess? Will Gabriel realise that Candi is not a fake? Will Candi's doctor find a heart donor?
