From humble beginnings in Minneapolis to the big city scene in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Lakers are arguably the greatest franchise in the history of the NBA. They have won 33 division championships, and 15 conference championships. They have also won 14 NBA championships, which is second only to Boston Celtics. They have 14 players in the Hall of Fame and 2 coaches. These players included greats like Magic Johnson, Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, and many other great players. No other team has an overall body of work that comes close to what the Lakers have accomplished, and they are the best franchise in NBA history.
