Happy Trails - screenplay outline
FADE IN over stock footage visuals of World War Two: Adolph Hitler's rise to power; the relentless attacks on civilization; the death camps; Mengele's horrificly cruel experiments on children; the Allied forces closing in on Berlin; Hitler Youth defending the city; a massive swastika emblem being exploded by Russian forces; the Nuremburg Trials; the executions.
The VOICE OF ADOLPH HITLER rages on in his native tongue (with subtitles)over an image of himself on a 1941 issue of
Time magazine (as the camera slowly pushes in):
He relates how he survived, and was brought over to the United States by the Truman regime, which was sympathetic to the Nazi cause, how he was taken to a top secret base in Nevada to be put in charge of a hundred relocated Nazi scientists, including Joseph Mengele, to advance the cause of science and eugenics,
in a secret program called Operation Spartan Stormtrooper. How to this day the base, known as Area 51, has successfully managed to maintain its high level of secrecy.
