Crazy Carl needs your help now. He has been frozen for nearly 15,000 years and has just woken up. He doesn't seem to have any language problems, but he is not sure where he is. Everything looks so different, but at the same time, familiar. Since Carl cannot travel back in time, he needs to figure out how to live in 2009.
Introduction:
Your group needs to help Carl figure out where he is and learn important facts about the place he plans to call "home". Fill out the worksheet given in class. At the end of the project, your group should produce a poster summarizing your findings. You may include: maps, hand-drawn pictures, printed pictures or artifacts. You will share your poster with the class so make sure it is neat and accurate.
