Welcome to my webpage! Because my final project is on the act of greenwashing and its regulation, I decided to show all of you how prevalent greenwashing is. Even this site layout is used to present an earthy, eco-friendly appearance for its visitors. While it's present in our everyday lives, we may not consider that some of the products we use have been greenwashed in their advertisement. For example, who would have thought that you could actually have a clean way of producing the world's dirties energy source?

There are various products that we as consumers are compelled to buy for their "green" labels, whether it be because we love our planet or just like to maintain healthy living. Either way, we have no way of knowing if we are really benefitting from these "green" products or not. It is extremely hard for anything to be done about this inability to decipher the truth due to the lack of regulatory system for the issue. Watch this video clip to gain a better understanding of how prevalent greenwashing is in our society--you may recognize some of these products from the shelves in your own home.
