Greenland's Little Hands Teaching Preschool

About Us

Greenland’s Little Hands was founded by Sandy Greenland. A mother of four, Sandy was motivated to create a special place where parents knew their children would be nurtured, loved and cared for in a fun and comfortable setting. A former Culver City School District preschool teacher, and Hart District teacher’s assistant, Sandy holds an AA in Child Development, Psychology and Sociology from College of the Canyons. She then went on to further her education at California State Northridge in Psychology.

A resident of Santa Clarita for more than 20 years, Sandy is well known in the community for her service and membership with the Church of the Canyons and the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce. Her time has been spent doing volunteer work for the Hunger Defense Fund and the SCV Pregnancy Center and much more. She has enjoyed working with the schools doing fundraisers for numerous youth sports teams and booster clubs. Sandy has a passion for working with children. She is truly dedicated to guiding your child’s learning potential and is very sensitive to your child’s many other needs. Communication with you to better your child’s experience and to understand wants for your child’s experience and to understand wants for your child’s needs are important to her. Sandy looks forward to nurturing your child.

Greenland’s Little Hands is a place where children flourish, as they focus on learning academic skills, growing in personality and character, and laughing while playing and socializing with others.

Learning

Academic enrichment is a key component of each day’s activities. Greenland’s Little Hands provides hands on interactive activities that help to develop skills for your child in Reading and Language, Numbers, Counting, Shapes, Colors and in the Creative Arts. Your child will discover something new each day and build a foundation for future academic achievements.

Growing

Our character-based curriculum helps children cultivate respect, kindness, self-control, responsibility and other desirable attributes.

Laughing

Both structured and free play times are fun opportunities for children to establish relationships with their peer, and develop their fine and gross motor skills.
