We are here in this world to fulfill our destiny. We are here to be an Overcomer.
Several summers ago I was walking down a paved country road here in this valley surrounded by mountains. The sides of the asphalt pavement were hard, rocky, and bone-dry dusty dirt. Normally only hardy thistles and a few other weeds will even grow several feet from the road, yet I looked down and right in the stony area next to the pavement was the most beautiful, fragile-looking, purple-pink-violet flower. It was one I had never seen in this area before. I stopped and stooped down to examine it closely, "You are really an overcomer, aren't you, little fellow?"
This little guy, this delicate flower's seed had obviously come a long way from where it started from carried by the often gale-force winds through the mountains and flung across the valley, exposed to the harsh cold and snow during the winter, then parched by the summer sun. Yet here it is standing tall and beautiful as if from Hallowed Ground and personally tended by God. It had adapted, bent to the elements by coming into harmony with them and was determined to fulfill its destiny. It was an Overcomer.
The Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit, is awaiting your call to begin taking you into greater experiences in G-d. Take responsibility for your own unfoldment today. Don't let anyone discourage you or place any more limitations on you. You have work to do. You have a destiny to fulfill. You are to be an Overcomer.
