Welcome to Glamour Handcrafts Design Studio where we specialize in the gift-giving process. Here we offer a wide selection of gifts, gift bags, gift boxes, and special-occasion cards for any and all gift-giving occasions.
You can select from any number of categories from: Christmas, Baby Shower, Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Wedding Anniversary, Bridal Shower, House-warming, Thank You, Employee/Manager/Teacher Appreciation, and Get-Well.
You can even design a handbag or scarf to go with your favorite outfit.

I began crocheting nearly 25 years ago, before my daughter was born. I designed her first baby blanket using a crossed double crochet stitch before I even knew it was a stitch. For those of you, unfamiliar with crochet, it is an intricate craft in which you use yarn, a hook, and a combination of stitches to make various things such as handbags, scarves, afghans, baby blankets, or virtually anything you want.
There are hundreds of variations of stitches that can be made using the single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet among others. It is the many different combinations of these stitches that make them unique and all their own.

You can make any project of your choice by selecting your stitch or set of stitches. But the fun part comes when trying to select the color and type of yarn you want for your project.
There are so many different types of yarns from baby weight, sock weight, sport weight, worsted weight. And with each different type of yarn you have many many many colors to choose from. You can have bold colors, or pastels. solids or self-striping.
With each of these types and colors of yarn, you can achieve a variety of effects.. One yarn type may be soft and give you a subtle look, while another type of yarn may be bulky and give you a look of wintery warmth..

I designed this circular afghan for my brother's funeral and we draped it across his casket. I call it the "Sunset Harbor". The brown and off-white is the sand, the blue the ocean and the outer edges is the sunset. My brother loved to spend time at the beach fishing. So I thought it was appropriate to make the afghan especially for him.
I designed this cute pink and white baby dress by merely looking at a photo in a magazine.

Since my gifts, gift boxes and bags are all hand-crocheted, I use only the best yarn available. You have the opportunity to chose the color you desire. If you love pastels we can offer an assortment of soft-colored yarns. If you love bold colors we can offer that as well. For your gift cards, boxes and bags you can choose flowers, hearts, or butterflies for your embellishment. We offer a wide selection of silk flowers, crochet flowers and paper flowers. We offer the same variety for hearts and butterflies. You can even combine butterflies with flowers.
For gift cards and gift tags, you can choose the color of your cardstock paper, which is the base of the card. Then you can pick the design or designs of your textured paper which is used on the outside cover of the card. You can choose a single color of textured paper, or a combination of two colors. The choice is yours.
