My name is Jon Gilbert and I am a senior at the University of Florida. I am graduating in the fall with a degree from the College of Journalism and Communications in Telecommunications. My hometown is down south in Naples, FL, but I am originally from Westport, CT where I was born and lived for 14 years. I love being active; I was on the swim team and ran track in high school and still engage in these activities today. I also love to snowboard which I have done for many years now. Aside from being active, I'm a bit of a nerd at heart. I'm pretty knowledgeable about computers and play video games all the time, I mean, but who doesn't these days? I am currently enrolled in ENG 1131 which is taught by the wonderful Cari Keebaugh. So, studying comes first!
