Hi! My name is Debbie Gallant and I live in Ontario, Canada. I am so glad that you decided to visit our site. I have found great satisfaction in doing beadwork. It has brought many happy hours of relaxation and peace, as well as fun when I have the chance to get together with beading friends.
I have been beading since about 1996. I was taught by a native friend and have been obsessed with it ever since.
Most of my work is done with seed beads or rohaille [size 11]. If you are interested in purchasing any of the following beaded pieces or if you would like a custom-made item just let us know.
Beads and beading have been around for many years. Beginning back in the 1800's the tiniest beads, with beautiful colours were produced. These tiny beads continue to be in demand today. Over the years beads have been produced in various shapes and sizes. Until the mid 1980's, beads and beading were primarily for ornamentation. There had been little thought to the historical background of beads. Beads have been used in costumes and decorating for decades.

hemp jewelry for fundraising purposes in Toronto
Ontario. Since then I've made approximately 2000 pieces.
My business went from hemp jewelry, to
beaded pieces, most of which
are all one of a kind as I don't
usually use a pattern for anything
I make. No 2 pcs are the same.
I also do commission work.
Jewelry started out as a fundraising
method and a past time. It's fun too.
