When you see a homeless person, you usually are looking directly at either 1) aggravated ignorance and
illiteracy 2) mental illness, sometimes severe, 3) extreme alcohol use/abuse 4) possible crackhead damage
and 5) the effects of the daily grind from MBK to the Meyer Center to wherever. On the other hand, there are
those, probably less than 5% of the homeless population who still have most or all their marbles.
