Coming into the last week of the season both the Houston Oilers and Yuma Cowboys needed a win and some help to get into the playoffs. Well both got a win and what they needed so they're both in.

In the AFC the Houston Oilers saw early on Sunday that the Tigers would beat the Texas Cowboys so all they needed was a win. What looked like a sure thing considering their opponent only scored 69 points, looked bleak when Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson, Heath Miller, and the Steelers defense who all played in the Sunday night game combined for only 30 points when they were averaging 54 points combined coming into that game. So, going into Monday night the Oilers needed 8 points from Derrick Mason who only had 2 TD's all year and was going against the Patriots. Well Mason went for 67 yards and a touchdown for 12 points and a Oilers win.

Now, the Oilers will go on to face Brown Colored Croquet in the first round of the playoffs while the Boneheads get the bye. The Boneheads and Croquet finished with the same record but the Boneheads beat Croquet both times head to head to earn the bye.

For the Yuma Cowboys, their win was never really in doubt as superstars Peyton Manning and LaDainian Tomlinson combined for 64 points and the team as a whole scored 117 and that was more than enough against the last place Da Unit. Yuma had to sweat it out with Derrick Mason as well since the Oilers were playing the Round Rock Rampage who Yuma was trailing. Mason helped the Oilers win and that in turn helped Yuma get in as well.

Now the Yuma Cowboys will face Krypton Zod in the first round of the playoffs while the Toohey Tigers get the bye.

For the draft order, the Rampage and Texas Cowboys have the same record. Texas beat the Rampage in their only meeting so Rampage gets the higher pick. Here is our draft order so far:

2008 Draft Order:
1. Da Unit
2. The Kats
3. Round Rock Rampage
4. Texas Cowboys

Good luck to everyone this week!
