You've reached the home of Featherbee Productions, Canada's premiere independent film production company. We have experience in film production, film theory, and are currently developing several A-list, big name films sure to become next summer's hottest blockbusters.

Featherbee Productions was founded in 2005 by veteran film student and father of 3 Shih Tzus Nicholas Featherbee, one of Vancouver's hottest creative talents. Nicholas began his film career at the age of 45, but with age comes wisdom, and he can be found pitching his ideas to some of Hollywood's hottest minds today. Some of Featherbee Productions latest projects include:

Superbowl Ad Pitch for Doritos Competition - "Dog Knocks Over Doritos Bowl to Owner's Chagrin"

Featherbee Productions received a thank you letter from the Doritos team for the submission of a Superbowl Commercial idea.

Vancounver University Student Film - "Old Man Goes to Film School"

Despite creative differences with some of the student actors involved, director Nicholas Featherbee achieved a landmark 10 minute short (cut down to 5 due to university rules) that will be sure to live on in V.U. memory. The film was honored with a passing grade by professors and received applause from its premiere audience, cementing Featherbee's reputation as an auteur to watch in Canada.

"A Writer's Journey" - Youtube / Online / Digital Media

Director Nicholas Featherbee broke new ground with his 120 minute short form documentary film chronicling his personal journey to sell a script in Hollywood. Released exclusively online to protest Hollywood's monopoly on distribution (and ensure that the film reached the maximum possible audience), it has received a resounding "thumbs up" rating from viewers, which continue to climb every day. Spec Script for "Monk"

Featherbee Productions has written a spec script for the Tony Shaloub television series "Monk". It is currently in consideration for production. The script revolves around the titular character Monk (an obsessive compulsive detective) being caught in a bathroom at an NFL game where the soap dispenser is broken. Having a tick where he cannot leave a restroom until he thoroughly washes his hands, Monk is trapped in the bathroom until the end of the game. During the course of the episode, he meets several walk-on celebrity guests who have come in to urinate, and learns a lesson about patience and self control. Look for this episode in a future season!

Spec Script for "Midnight Cowboy II"

From visionary director Nicholas Featherbee comes the story of a crusty cowboy who moves to New York and is astonished to find all of the late night eateries open past midnight. This is the heart warming tale of  a small town man who is used to restaurants closing at 9 PM coming o terms with the hustle and bustle of a metropolis where food is available around the clock. Also, he becomes a prostitute.
