Temptation in the wilderness

Matthew 4,  This is the Chapter that explains how to fight Satan.  First God leds Jesus up to the Wilderness to be tempted.  Satan waits until he can tell what Jesus will truly want for a temptation. Then
he offers him bread.  Jesus uses the word of God to combat the temptation. After the 3 temptation satan leaves. I guess he figures he wasn't getting anywhere with Jesus.  1rst Temptation = the lust of the flesh
2nd = the Pride of Life 3rd = The lust of the eyes
Christians must be watchful as we try to walk in this world.
