When
filling the application form for JEE Main 2018 exam, it is important to upload
a scanned copy of your photograph in the prescribed dimensions and size. While
the dimension of a photograph is 3.5CM (Width) x 1CM (Height), the
file size of the photo must be less than 40KB and at least 4KB.
If you are
unable to resize your photo to the exact
size, follow these steps:
o
Convert
the value of 3.5CM x 4.5CM in the pixel.
It is going to be 413x531 pixels.
o
Now, go to
Paint option your computer and open
the scanned copy of your photograph in it.
o
Click on
the Resize button located on the
top-left side of the Paint window. A new box will appear on the screen.
o
Select Pixel option and deselect Maintain aspect ratio option.
o
Enter 413
value in Horizontal field and 531 in the Vertical
field. Click Ok.
o
The photograph will be resized to the same dimension as required to
be uploaded in JEE Main 2018 application form.
