St. Louis, Missouri --

After signing free Agent First Basemen Mark Teixiera the Yankees have continued to show why they will not be left out in the dry this off season. According to Buster Olney, The Yankees are in Talks with the Cardinals on a proposed trade that would send this years NL Mvp to the Bombers for second Basemen Robison Cano, and Prized future ace Phil Hughes. The Yankees and Cardinals could not agree to a lesser deal that just involved Hughes, and Kennedy.  Since reports of the bombers losing out to the Rays as the suiters of free agent Right fielder Bobby Abreu, the Bombers need insurance in right field. Pujols fits perfectly with their plan, having formerly played right field.
