How to become a member
At this early point in our history, you will have only heard mention of us through current members who enlightened you as to the existence of this website to peruse. As we do not yet know of a way to truly measure one's benevolence, the ideas and knowledge of Interencephalonism will only spread through person-to-person interactions. Since our tenets involve being a good person and attempting to upload one or more of our members into the future neural network, our religion must only be spread to those who we deem (for lack of a better term) "good."
If you've reached our informational website, one of our members (whom you've likely known and loved for years) has styled you as a good person who would want to help save the human race. As a note of caution to you who want to spread the desire of human salvation, immortality (even one that your "self" might not be a part of) is incredibly tempting. We want as few people involved in our family as possible who might be swayed by personal achievement, immortality and power. When considering whether to embrace a new member into our fold, do not divulge our existence to anyone who might attempt to undo our work. You may wait weeks, months, or even years before revealing our ideas to someone you trust, just don't act too quickly or without meditation due to the possibility of allowing a potentially destructive individual into our hopeful community.
To accept membership, merely contact the Ceph who told you about us and (s)he will introduce you to your local chapter and its members!
