Animated figures have been around to some degree for hundreds of years. But what we know as motion-ettes didn't show up in stores until the late 80s. When I first went on the internet to search for websites about collecting, repairing and restoring motion-ettes, I was shocked to see there were none. Being a self-proclaimed Halloween expert, having built over 50 full sized monsters for our home Halloween display. I have a huge Halloween collection, and in that collection, many assorted animated figures. Often times when I would buy used motion-ettes they were in need of some repair. Since I couldn't find any info on the web concerning motion-ettes. I decided to put a website together myself showing my collection of animated figures and tips on restoring and repairing them, along with any other motion-ette knowledge I can share.
