HOW AND WHY ROMANIA?

| 2005 | Lorraine and Betty share their stories and heartache with Zion United, Armstrong |
| 2005 | Sunday School students organize fund-raising projects with the church for In Brate as their outreach project |
| 2006 | Bev & Doug Richardson celebrate their 50th anniversary in style by making over 50 sock dolls to send to Romania for the children at the Vacation Bible School |
| 2007 | Dwight visits Canada and talks at a potluck dinner at Zion United |
| 2007 | My friend, Deb, hears me speak of the foundation and decides to spend a month in Romania. Zion sends her off with pampers and batteries (for the kiddies swings on the floors at the hospital) |
| 2007 | Dwight visits Canada and spends some time with Deb & Lorne in Calgary and we are able to hook up for a visit. |
| 2008 | Sharlene MacDonald, from Zion, and her girlfriend Thriza, spend May-July working at the hospital and in the village at the Vacation Bible School. Our Sunday School kids donate their stuffies and they distribute these at the VBS |
| 2008 | I have the opportunity to travel with Deb to Romania and share in the experience first hand. Zion (and a local elementary school) sends me off with 2 duffle bags of school supplies for the Children's Church and funds for 50 pairs of inside slippers and photocopying money. |

The WHY?
- with over 10 000 babies abandoned each year - these innocent children deserve better!
- just look at the faces of those babies on the foundation's website and ask, how can we not?
