In March of 2008 we gave a six thousand dollar deposit to Jeff Fennimore, owner of Fennillie construction for him to covert a garage bay into a room and extend the original garage. By May of 2008 Fennimore had been given all the money for this contract. We had paid him in full hoping he'd make good on the contract and finish the job. In the mean time he had also been given a five thousand dollar deposit for a second contract. Stupidly we trusted him and thought he'd do as he said and had signed that he would. In August he was fired. He had not bought and delivered all of the material necessary for the first job, none for the second ad has not returned a penny. He told a subcontracted concrete company that we stiffed him and thats why he didn't pay them. Keep in mind, he was paid in full. The ceiling he did put in has cracked and we can see the joint compound mounds on that ceiling. he didn't tape the joints first in all instances either. he cracked the moulding over the door leading to the room and left it that way. He installed a glass/screen door so badly that even the town inspector told him it had to be redone. I have had to pay another contractor to fix Fennimore's mistakes, including siding done wrong and window framing done wrong. He has not returned one penny of the seventten thousand and didn't even leave enough material to finish the job. He has left his big ugly machine on my property as well. He has had construction companies under the name east oast construction, Fennillie construction and fennimore construction as well as a few others.
