THE NEWS THAT SOOTHES

Hey Hey fellow heads! We just got back from the Yucatan Jam in Houston, MN. It was a great time! Rained like a bitch on friday, but we jammed out with the bandits and moon boot in the back of the furniture truck lol; with the help of some special shroomies. Saturday was oppressively hot, but which one's pink kicked our asses in and everyone was partying down. We played sunday morning to a few hippie zombies and some older folks, and they all loved us. It was the best sound we have ever had. The rig was like 32,000 watts of power or something lol. We came, we saw, we ingested drugs and jammed. We've got some prospective gigs in prairie du chien and other places now. Next we are set to try our new PA out at Glory Days on Friday August 14th. Be there!! We are still working on getting internet at the jam house, and we are going to try and put more time into our side project Soma. Until then, Peace and safe travels.

Tomah Rocks! We played The Gas Alley Pub on Friday, and had a great time. Thanks to everyone who attended; and we will be back! Also thanks to Milktoast for letting us open for them on Saturday at Nighthawks. This next weekend is the Yucatan Jam. We are hooking up the internet at the jam house tomorrow! So, we will be more up to date. Peace.

WooT! Finished the EP, and we are now ready to release it at the Popcorn Tavern tomorrow night! The opening band canceled, so now we are having an open jam to start out the night. Come out and jam!! Make sure to check out the Live Dates section, I updated with a calendar. I'll be working on media soon.

Hey everyone. The Nighthawks show turned out good, and we are happy to announce that we are working on a cd of our originals! We plan on releasing it at the Popcorn Tavern on Thursday July 23, 2009; so be there! That nights show will have The Midnight Farmers opening up for us.

We had a great 4th of July weekend show at Glory Days, and are working on songs for the Nighthawks show on Saturday July, 11th. Lets Roll!!
Defcon 5 has a new jam spot! It's still on La Crosse Street, but just a few blocks down. We also have a show coming up at The Popcorn Tavern on Friday June 19th 2009
