My name is D. Andrew. I am an independent photographer with varying styles and expertise. I photograph pretty much any subject, ranging from automobiles, portraits, art portfolios for students and professionals, nature, pets, children, and product photography. I believe in displaying emotion and personality through my portraiture. I photograph all of my clients how I see them on a personal level. I never put anyone in a situation in which they would be uncomfortable, so familiar surroundings such as their home or a park are always a plus. I don't carry a lot of studio equipment with me because I prefer to use natural light in my portraits. For me a photo shoot is not just a one time thing. I like to set up an initial session with a client in order to see their comfort level with the camera, especially with children and families. I like to capture portraits of people when they are relaxed as they go about their normal lives. I believe this process helps to make the final outcome a little more fluid and personal than just a mugshot.
