This cover letter will establish my qualifications to open the doors for employment opportunities.

The reason I seek employment is come out of semi retirement due to my wife has lost her job due to cutbacks.

I seek to start my 2nd career in any capacity to enhance or stabilize an organization.

I have 15 years in Operational Management including Business Operations Management, and 10 years in Industrial Management, and Commercial Project Management. In the year 2000, I secured a BSTM degree in advanced Business Operations Technical Management. This relates to Operations Management, Business Management, Project Management, Retail and Wholesale Operations, Loss and Risk Prevention, Manufacturing Management, Marketing, Presentations, Managerial Accounting, Material Management to include Warehousing and Distribution, Supply Chain Management to include Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Procurements. Using my degree, experience, and Computer Information Science strengthens my skills for effect.

I have strong effective communication skills. I have the abilities to assess problems, develop solutions and implement actions to meet any challenge. I work well with customer service and vendors to resolve issues and work well with co workers to resolve problems and concerns for a more productive and enthusiastic work place. I have been directly involved with ISO 14000 and QS 9000 certification process and I understand quality documentation.

I have managed 5 to 100 workers from 50,000 to 300,000 sq ft Plant Operation. I’ve worked with budgets and inventory up to $10, million. I have the experience and skills to work closely with Human Resources to achieve an employee quality environment.

In review I am very flexible and I have very strong management, organizational,  leadership, and communication skills to meet the needs for a fluent operation.

 Spearheaded, established, administered and directed an Engineering office from seed to harvest to meet all requirements for a $3.4 million manufacturing project upgrade to include inventory and Sub Contractors. Reviewed, assessed, and collaborated with engineers to constantly revise and update a floor plan for extensive inventory for the food manufacturing plant for all food grade applications to include food grade disposables, stainless materials and assembly, and while maintaining clean environments.  Documented, assessed and automated all mechanical and electrical equipment, updated computer equipment, efficiently replaced multiple pieces of equipment to meet the production demand for the next 10 years.    Successfully maintained, supervised and instituted telecommunication at every work station for board room seating and develop Power Point presentations to meet the oncoming demands of the project to include seating up to 20 to 30 visitors in a single setting.  Purchased, coordinated, reconciled, and collaborating with over 30 vendors and service providers to develop and execute bids.  Led, directed and managed areas of vendor research and development.  Managed outside storage areas for security control for multi million-dollar inventory ensuring absolute accurate inventory control.  Directed all areas of reconciliation for completed work, generating reports to corporate engineers for allocated funds VS funds remaining.  Expertly functioned as Liaison between Engineering staff and raw materials, mechanical and electrical contractors.  Developed, designed and presented a World Class Preventive Maintenance Outline for all equipment.  Single-handedly responsible for the set up and execution of total Accounts Payables for over 30 vendors using Excel and SAP Software.  Actively served as Coordinator, organizing and scheduling contractors for several complete electrical plant shutdowns.
