     I really like guns. No, I mean like really really like them. My favorite gun, of all that I own, is my very first one. It doesnt shoot the straightest, and it hasnt killed any animals, but this little Winchester 62A has so many miles and memories on it that it makes it a clear cut favorites. Sure, my hand-built 10-22 looks good and shoots a .3" group at 75 yards, but it doesnt have the feel that the winchester has. My savage 99 with all its family history and animals killed and winters put through still doesnt have the same character that the winchester has. and the next closest favorite, a 1947 Springfield 12 gauge doesnt compare to all the good times, bad times, fun times, and sad times that the 62A has been with me for. I know, its a strange thing to have reasons why a gun's your favorite or why you like it best, but lots of things go into why you look at different things in different ways, and thats just a small reason of why my favorite gun is what it is.

     This is my blog, obviously, and as of right now, I'm sitting at my home in the rural thumb of michigan wishing there was something to do instead of watching corn and sugar beets grow. I'm Drew, and for however long it takes me to write my stories. Heres a little bit about me.

     Im a huge Metallica fan, and music fan in general, listening to everything from brad paisley to james taylor to all that remains to lil wayne. But there are favorites out of all this musical diversity, including Metallica, Led Zeppelin, James Taylor, the Eagles, Brad Paisley, and Social Distortion.

     I work at a grocery store. I dislike my job. 'Nuff Said.

     I like cars, and will for sure post things about it. 

     I have strong feelings on a lot of issues, but for the most part I do not have a political party affiliation. I am not republican or democrat or green party or whatever. I hate with a passion gun control, and I hate how our nation hands out welfare like candy and would be more than willing to cut benefits nearly entirely. But at the same time I am a huge fan of unions and the labor movement. Just call me a moderate.

     Theres a crapton more I'd like to post, but it'll come up eventually in future blogs. Bye for now everyone.
