This brand of jewelry is the brain child of an American design of the same name. David Yurman is a top-of-the-range jewelry artist founded in the United States Of America but whose influence stretches around the world. His jewelry is usually used by famous people such as P Diddy and Beyonce but is also very popular with anyone who likes wonderful jewelry

His early yrs were spent as an driven artist who would often sell his own works of art to best friends and family to have a little more pocket money. The fact that his art work was up to scratch even at that age for people to want to pay for it strongly suggested that even then this kid possessed a talent for art As well as for business !

It soon became apparent to David that his real passion was in art and so he decided one day to just quit college and chase his dream.

David Yurman lived his early years residing in The Big Apple which at that time was THE place to be for any ambitious artist. Circled by kindred spirits Yurman thrived within this environment and was able to develop as an artist.

During his time in Greenwich Village David met Sybil, who later on became his wife. Sybil was also an artist and their shared love of art also led to a mutual love between the young couple. David continued with his work but was increasingly influenced by Sybil who grew to become the object of his artistic desire. He would often design pieces for her to put on and one such piece became the spark that led to his future fame.

On one visit to an art show the owner greeted Sybil wondering if he could buy the buckle she was wearing. Chuckling at the offer Sybil explained that she couldn't possibly do that as it was crafted by her boyfriend. David diplomatically turned down the offer of producing exactly the same buckle in great quantities for the owner but he did begin to think of the commercial appeal of his art which finally directed the couple to form their own company.

Whilst in New York he was introduced to another young artisan by the name of Sybil. The couple shared an enduring passion for art and they quickly fell for each other with each other. Sybil became a muse for David Yurman who started designing tiny love trinkets for her. One such token proved to be a noteworthy event in David and Sybil's life as one time whilst they went to an art collection the proprietor saw a buckle that Sybil was wearing and enquired where she had got it from She laughed and said that David was a designer and had designed the piece for her. The owner was so fascinated he asked if David could create identical pieces to re-sell on the open market but David declined because he strongly believed that the integrity of his work would be lost if such a personalized item was replicated and distributed.

On account of the spectacular success of this style, Yurman began to make other jewelry and his collection expanded to incorporate necklaces, rings, earrings in addition to other bracelets. The cable design became a signature style as Yurman would often incorporate it on most of his rings, necklaces and earrings.

Although Yurman designed jewelry with different materials whether they are gold or precious stones his favorite precious metal to work with happens to be silver and today the majority of his jewelry is created from
