Technology has selected Acumen Solutions to supply a cloud-computing
CRM and project management answer.
A division in the HHS (Wellness
& Human Services), ONC has been charged with encouraging the
adoption of wellness specifics technologies and the promotion of
nationwide HIE (Health Information Exchange).
The American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 has allocated funding for medical
providers to implement EHR (electronic wellness records) systems. In
order to effectively distribute these grants into the market, ONC is
creating a network of RECs (Regional Extension Centers) that will
give regionalized support to medical providers for the selection and
implementation of an EHR.
To track, manage and report on this
effort, Acumen Solutions will implement a cloud computing remedy from
Salesforce.com that will be used nationally across all RECs. Acumen
will deliver the RECs with the ability to manage all interactions with
medical providers related to their selection and implementation of an
EHR (electronic wellness records) remedy.
