Cyberstalking Help and Prevention
Hello, my name is Brandon McKinley. Due to some unfortunate personal experiences I have started a volunteer service to help both people being victimized by online harassment as well as to provide advice for people who want to date online, but want to make sure they are taking necessary precautions to ensure your safety.
I started this project in the summer of 2007 and was amazed at the stories I found and the impact that I was able to have to help people. I am now a Kentucky Colonel due to my works to fight online harassment.
In recent years I witnessed someone very close to me fall victim to what I believe was an online dating prospect gone bad. Even more recently, I battled a life threatening illness. I was engaged at the time to my now wife, Susan. Unfortunately one of her friends felt like my new illness was unfair to my wife after being ignored outright to leave me over this illness, she took it upon herself to spread lies to achieve this breakup. A lot of this was done over the computer.
