Contents Under Pressure brings together the sounds of classic 80's metal with modern hard rock. BAND BIO: Contents Under Pressure was formed in a small town in Pennsylvania on July 4th, 2007 by Steven baker and Kevin Bunting. The band name was a tough issue until Kevin Bunting came across a label reading "Warning: Contents Under Pressure" on a can of Febreze. The two soon decided that, that would become the bands official name. Just weeks later on July 14th, 2007, Steven and Kevin began writing music. Steven Baker was producing excellent lyrics, while Kevin was creating great music. Steven's first written song was "Poison to My Mind." With the combination of Stevens great lyrics and Kevin's sweet guitar riffs, the band was almost on its way to putting some songs together. However one problem needed to be addressed, the band needed more members to fill the open positions. In early October the to met up with drummer Cody Middleton and soon signed him to the band. Just a few days later on October 12, 2007 the bands second guitarist Steven Roberts entered the band and he is no beginner with the 6-string. At this point it seemed the band was on its way to recording songs. After talking it over with the band members they soon hired bassist Kevin Sandstrom, although there was much debate as to whether the band actually needed a bassist or not. In early January 2008 Cody Middleton dropped out unexpectedly because of personal reasons and soon came to realize he was not interested in playing the kind of music genre Contents Under Pressure had to offer. Just days later on January 23, 2008 Kevin Bunting met up with Andrew Budd, who had just about over a year experience under his belt, and signed him to the band. At the current moment the band members are unsure about the future of bassist Kevin Sandstrom because of his lack of work effort. Currently the band is working on their first album entitled "The Theory," which is expected to have anywhere from 5 to 10 songs. So we will be looking forward to the release of Contents Under Pressure's first album hopefully in the upcoming year or two.
